Personal Essay *

Applicants are required to write an essay (below) describing how the following quote from American author and poet Maya Angelou applies to their lives and circumstances: “I can be changed by what happens to me. I refuse to be reduced by it.” Explain how you have overcome adversity and challenges in your life, in the spirit of Maya Angelou's quote.

Submission of a confirming high school transcript is required as part of the Lauren's Foundation Memorial Scholarship submission. Ask your Guidance Counselor to provide to scholarships@laurensfoundation.org or mail to Lauren's Foundation Memorial Scholarship C/O Lauren's Foundation at 1114 Fairview Avenue, Wyomissing, PA 19610. By submitting this form, you acknowledge that failure to provide a transcript will eliminate you from scholarship consideration.
