Join us on Sunday, October 30, 2011 for the 7th Annual Fitzy's Halloween 5K! Last year (October, 2010) over 600 people united to raise awareness for brain tumors, support local scholarships and help Berks County families with seriously ill children, all while remembering Lauren Fitzgerald, a 20 year old Wyomissing resident that died on July 18, 2005 after a 14 month battle with a brain tumor.

 Now, in its 7th year, Fitzy’s Run has grown exponentially. 

  • More than $80,000 has been raised in the past 6 years.
  • Fundraising and participation have both increased by more than 200% since inception.
  • More than 3,000 participants since inception in 2005.
  • Involvement of many local, regional and global organizations.

This event raises money for local children suffering from serious illness; The American Brain Tumor Association, a non-profit organization that funds research on causes and cures for brain tumors; and the Lauren Fitzgerald Memorial Scholarship Fund, which benefits local high school seniors that have faced or continue to face adversity in their lives.

To make this event successful, we are seeking assistance from local businesses. In addition to supporting a worthy cause, sponsoring this event is great exposure for your business! We will provide you with marketing materials to help publicize the event as well as your business. Fitzy’s Run includes a run... but also so much more! Lunch is provided to all participants in addition to live music, a costume judging contest, a silent auction, supervised children’s activities and more. Gold Sponsorship, $750+

Silver Sponsorship, $500

  • Small logo on t-shirt.

Bronze Sponsorship, $250

  • Company listing on t-shirt.
  • Logo placement on sponsor thank you board at event.

Types of Sponsorships:

  1. Monetary (preferred): Checks made payable to “Lauren's Foundation” *
  2. Silent Auction Prizes: Gift certificates, gift cards, gift baskets and merchandise.
  3. Food & Beverage: Bagels, fruit, deli platters, salads, rolls, condiments, beverages, candy, etc...
