2010 Sunflower Fund Recipients
Zackariah "Zack" Lucas, 17, who was diagnosed with leukemia in February, 2010 was chosen to receive a portion of funds raised from the sixth annual Fitzy's Halloween 5K and .3 Mile Fun Run held in Wyomissing in October, 2010. Zack, a 10th-grader, is being cared for by his grandparents. Read more
The Lauren Fitzgerald Sunflower Fund is helping Zack and his grandparents by providing financial assistance with household expenses (including insurance, phone and utility bills), throughout 2011. The total assistance provided is expected to be in excess of $5,000.
